Can you do the splits?
Valentines Day was celebrated at the Amorosa Sociadade This event was in aid of a local group of young gymnasts who are hoping to compete in the championships being held in Finland.
Barlomino and his staff served a very tasty supper of slow cooked chicken and potatoes with a choice of red or white wine, and followed by a fresh fruit salad. The tables were decorated beautifully with a romantic theme of red napkins and roses.
Michèle Frasca provided the live music which kept the dance floor occupied for most of the evening.
The highlight of the night was the superb show put on by the gymnasts from Casa Do Povo Messines. Everyone agreed that they put on an outstanding display and we were all very impressed by the huge amount of talent. Well done “Classe de Ginastica”!
