A gathering in of the harvest saw 75 Portuguese and other Europeans tucking into roast chicken, potatoes and salad. This had been preceded by fresh prawns and was followed up by slices of melon, all prepared and served by Barlomino and his staff.
Every person attending (and some others who could not) brought a selection of produce to be distributed later. This was gathered and displayed on the stage during the event. Live music was provided by Michele Fresca, and Rory and Cat Steward, this was then followed up by Malcolm playing lots of dance music for the guests to enjoy late into the evening. The proceeds from this event were distributed later to both Castelo da Sonhas and Casa de Povo.
